Re: Who here is using a Comp Cams 306 Camshaft (honas)
I'm using a CC306 in my LT1. Stock shortblock and ported LT1 aluminum heads. I make 364 RWHP and 410 RWTQ in my 350 with an A4.
I am very happy with it, moves my 4,000+ lb sled to near 11 second 1/4 times. It does have a rough idle, but your extra cubes will tame that some. It is a very proven cam in LT1's, very popular.
Re: Who here is using a Comp Cams 306 Camshaft (robtx)
Did you get any service engine lights on after it was installed?
Unless you have it programmed out, you'll get a SES light and a stored P0300 random misfire code courtesy of '96 & up OBD II. '95 and earlier have OBD I and don't have this issue.

It is possible to program that out? What part of the computer needs to be program to get rid of this error?

If you do your own programming using LT1 Edit you can disable the setting of the code and the illumination of the SES light. Likewise, Ed Wright or any of the other aftermarket tuners can do that as well. Whether you do it or a tuner does it,...it's all software :) It's not a specific part of the computer, it's part of the new flash you load.
Having said that...DanParker96 found that although it's "disabled" from a scan and SES light perspective, the code is still present and will affect the lock-up function of the torque converter if you're running an automatic (I didn't check your sig to see if you have an A4 or M6). Dan has a work-around for this. You might IM him for specifics.
