Code 36 I need advise
I just installed a new ignition cylinder and am getting a code 36. I know the 36 means ignition problem but exactly where in the ignition system. Cann't be the cylinder because I just replaced it and it's not like it was tricky or anything. The code was comming up before I replaced the cylinder. I thought it was the cylinder because, the key got stuck in the on position and wouldn't turn back. So, any ideas?

Actually code 36 indicates trouble in the MAF burn-off circuit.
If the sensor wire doesn't glow red for 2sec after you turn off the engine, replace the burn-off relay.

Replace the relays behind the battery on the firewall, together they should not be more than $20-25.
