MAF sensor burnoff
Hello everyone...I finally bought the autoxray scanner for my '89 coupe and of course I hooked it up to the car immediately. I got a code 36(MAF sensor burnoff fault). I have no clue what this is. I checked the Hanes manual but nothing...any suggestion? thankx...

Bosch MAF sensors use a burn off relay to heat the wire after shutdown to clean off any impurities that may gotten on it. The relays are located on the firewall behind the battery. Should be a cheap fix.
