Your motor, that is. Specifically an LT1. Has anyone used the "Happy Hooker" from TPIS? It looks like it bolts right on the top of the intake with the fuel rail bolts. If this is correct, are those 8mm head bolts strong enough? Have you just used a chain and threaded 2 bolts into the front of one head and the back of the other?

i haven't seen this set-up that you are talking about, however i have seen the ones that bolt onto the carb flange on a regular aluminum intake .they seem to do the trick. I would make sure to use all 4 of the fuel rail bolts.

I pulled the exhaust manifolds and pulled it from there. Tranny and all, it was just fine. I put two chains going down to each side for stability and it was nice.

Longer bolts going through the eye of a chain loop in the front/left and rear/right intake manifold bolt locations.

:iagree:

Or use long threads into the center of the heads were the intake bolts to the head, either way!
