LTPWS sensor question
Just put new Firestones on my 95 convertible. When they opened up my right rear tire, the metal band holding the sensor in place was broken. Called dealer - they want to sell the whole sensor for $280 something. The existing sensor works just fine - its the metal band holding it in place that broke. Anyone ever have this happen and if so, how'd you fix it? I can't believe that I can't just buy a metal band with a clamp on it and put that in the tire. Any thoughts?? Thanks - Later, JPC

Seriuosly.......look around a for salvage yards, most times the sensors are destroyed and the bands are still around..........good luck
