93 A/C Problem
Please help.
With car idling in the garage A/C works great. When I drive the car A/C comp. will not run & I get the 09 low freon trouble code. Reset the codes & hooked up a set of gauges. Comp. then will cycle like the service manual says, on at 43 psi off at 24-25 psi. Could this be the hvac programer ?

High side pressure would be helpful - you might try NAPA for an adaptor. Doubt the panel is faulty and the switch is working since it cycles where it should. Test at 1500 to 2000 rpm with the fan running. If it shuts off and you get the code, system is low. Look for leaks too - fittings, compressor shaft seal.

Problem solved!!!
I did not have a good connection on the low pressure switch. The a/c blows nice and cold. Ron
