Guys I am going to take the car to a different Dyno machine in State College PA ( better known as Penn State my alma martyr :D ).
As many of you may recall I had some good results but discovered my injectors were static past 3650RPM. As a solution I raised the FP to 55psi and brought the PW down below static state. This should yield me some more power.
As a recap, and you can see the dyno graphs from before in my sig, but the results from before were:
437.5 rwHP @ 5150 RPM and
536 rwFt-Lbs @ 3400
What are your guesses with more Fuel being delivered and hopefully getting the RPMs up to about 5600 Usable RPMs?
This'll be an interesting test. I wouldn't think the torque will change much, if at all since you peaked under the static level of your injectors and this is your only mod. If you get (and use) more gas, then heck, you could get another 20 or more HP up around 5300-5500.
If that's the case, with your 60s, you should get solid 10.9x all day long :D
well I know I can get 536 ft-lbs, so that 532 is out the door, unless something drastically changes or differences in dyno numbers are occure.
ski,
I am definately no dyno expert. I am just making a guess taking into account you will be using a different dyno, and possible higher outdoor temps. Also, my car seems to dyno a little lower torque numbers on my higher horsepower runs.
Nice #s  ...I have a similar combination and I just returned from the dyno. My motors a 420CID with Brodix Track 1s, 11: 1 comp, almost identical cam, and a TPIS mini-ram.
Here's two of my pulls:
We have similar HP but my torque is pathetic!!! Is it possible that there's 166 ft lbs difference between the Miniram and SR?? I have a SR and Accel manifold... after seeing your numbers, I think I'm going to throw it on.
Did you have your drive train loss calculated on the dyno? I heard (after my session) that it's a great way to find problems with the drivetrain.
I was also wondering why you're not spinning you engine over 5200ish?
Cork, but isn't that exactly what the miniram requires ( big port heads )? I would think it would be a mismatch to couple a MR with a small port head whose ports stalled at 5500ish rpm ... and then wouldn't it be a mistake to install the SR on my motor with such large port heads?
PS.they're actually quite large...they've been CNC ported by Brodix
those heads are overkill even for that mini ram i do not partically care for brodix stuff in general i was looking at them myself long and hard 10 years ago and thats when i came to a conclusion the afrs are better in my opinion
there was a frind of a friend at the track last year who had a 406 brodix
track 1s and a b&m underhood blower the larger one and a holly 850 dp and the best he could get was a 11.8 at 113 mph less than impressive
