Default Tune up for 96 Vette

My Vette has just turned 100K miles and I just found out that the previous owner had not had it tuned up at 50K. Ugh!

What should I look for or be aware of when taking it for a tune up? I am leaning towards Corvettes of Dallas to do the work.

Any suggestions?

Where did you get your info that it should be done at 50k? Manual shows 100k on plugs. You should just now be at a point of needing it done.

I would also check belts, hoses, Brakes, and get the injectors cleaned.

Just some things off the top of my head...Tranny fluid, rear-end oil, plugs (don't replace w/ factory ones), wires. Has the water pump or opti been replaced? Good time to fix any leaks or replace gaskets. Drain and flush radiator. Bleed brakes if not done recently.

Besides the regular vital fluids, I would suggest plugs, wires and fuel filter. Also check the water pump and intake manifold for leaks.

I'll second the fuel filter replacement and flush brake fluid.

I was told that from two shops...the Vette dealership I purchased my car from, and a mechanic that does only Vettes. Both said that the tune up should have been done at 50K. Boy do I feel mislead.
I did just recently have the fuel filter changed...and that made a slight difference in performance. I have been quoted $450+ for a full tune up.
