If your fuel system is in good shape the stock pressure range should be enough. If you have an AFPR you could always try it at stock range and adjust upwards iun small increments as track times or seat of your pants indicate. Stock range for your '91 is 34 - 39psi @ idle.

You set it with the line off in order to get a valid "top" pressure. Then connect the line so that it adjusts the pressure as needed according to engine vacume. The thread was talking about folks who might have disconnected the vacume line & LEFT IT OFF all the time. Which is NOT a good thing.

Make sense?

I went from a 13.20 to a 12.80 by lowering the pressure from stock to 36 psi.
