Running rich
(91 vette 110000 miles) I had written in to the forum earlier in the week about my vette blowing blueish smoke on start up and after driving for awhile, someone had suggested that the engine may be running to rich. When I had my precats gutted a few months back the guy who did it told me that he thought the car was running rich also... Is this an easy adjustment??? Also the disk on the front of the water pump, do I really need it? Thanks

ditch the disk on the waterpump. It won't give ya much but some is better than none. After removing the cats the car is bound to smell rich and blow a little more smoke....as far as the blueish smoke on startup that sure sounds like worn out valve stem seals to me :yesnod:
