Help: Broken turn signal stalk.
My turn signal stalk is now a dangling decoration. I read the shop manual, it seems about as explicit as a Chilton's manual. I haven't had time to get into it yet to see if it is as easy as the manual says.
Anyone repaired their turn signal before? Any tips?

Is the stalk broken or just come out? I don't know if the turn signal stalk is separate from the whole turn signal module in the column. If the stalk itself cannot just be replaced, I would buy a turn signal module and try to instal it myself. If you cannot, then take it to your shop. Labor should not be too high and they can't charge you the ridiculous prices for parts. My local shop buys their parts from the gm dealer at the high prices.

They just push in and pull out and there is an electrical connector to undo. I have a used one for 94 up with white writing, if you need it email me. ;)
