Please explain how the digital AC control in 86 works....
I spoke to the dude at corvette clinic in sanford fl and I was very impressed which isn't easy to do,
I explained that the control face/panel in the dash reads out and seems to work okay but anything higher than about 67 or in 'econo" mode it blows hot air with a mind of it's own, he said he pretty much knew the problem, one of two what I will call "units" since my tired mind doesn't recall the tech names, one is over the gas petal the other is up in the passenger side dash, could someone who understands this system better than I do please explain it to me I plan to pay to have this one fixed but I wanna better understand the AC system in these cars.
