Does anyone know why I am getting an error 74 ASR Active - Fault on my error codes? I went into the websight Corvette Action Center and got this info
EBCM power input below 9.0 volts. What does this mean? Do I have a bad command module? What can I do to correct this problem? Help!! Dash lights flash and kicks off cruise.. and I shut it off and tried to start it and it missed and carried on. Black smoke (raw gas). My vette is a 94. Chevy is no help at all.
Anyone that could help would be appeciated big time!
Thanks

Doesnt sound like a wheel speed sensor to me. They usually just set the the abs light on or service asr. They dont usually make it act funny. Sounds like a module somewhere.
Thanks for the response. I have tried to run it without the Traction Control and same thing. One thing I have noticed.. and don't know if this is related. But, if I leave my keys in the ignition, no dinger rings and when I close the door, the door locks click. When the lights are on the DIC, The dinger rings with the key in, and doors lock. Engine runs a little rough and after a few mins the lights clear the DIC and all runs good. Is this the additional info you are lookin for?
Thanks
Edd
Some extra info. When I am on a trip.. cruising about 80 (happens below that speed too..55 mph and up) the cuise kicks out and lights flash. All the lights, even security lights, but, still can accelerate with the pedal. I have watched the voltage and runs about 13.8 to 14.3. I was told that the alternators are falted in the 94's. Don't know if it's true or not.
Thanks
