Belt replacement for LT4
The belt shredded on my vette as I was driving down the street, and I wanted to know if anyone knows they socket size for the belt tensioner? Also any hints would help as I have a camberbrace.

My 94 LT1 uses a 16mm.
Installing a belt with a Camber Brace was 'interesting'- I ended up loosening the brace and letting droop forward and down for better access.

I use a serpentine belt tool from Lisle 57900 http://www.lislecorp.com/tools/catal...ral/index.htm.
I did find the newer style of Goodyear belt seemed a little tighter (shorter) than the previous ones. Watch out for the sensor and the wire/cable routing pieces on the front of the water pump. You may want to pull the connector from the sensor ( I think there is a recent thread) and possibly pull out the routing pieces.

I believe KurtK is correct. I think it does use a 16mm. I have a Matco serpentine belt kit but it can be done with a breaker bar or ratchet just be careful and dont slip. Slip=busted knuckles :cuss
