Hmmm, never seen that before, but I like it. I know they offer a stealth display to hide the main unit. Maybe you should email Valentine and ask them. http://www.valentine1.com/home.asp

There was post several months ago about it. A guy custom-made the mirror display for his BMW. I forget where the sensors were mounted, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't in the mirror itself.

These are a custom made mirror. The unit still needs to be mounted, but the unit will not show the lights at the unit itself. It will bypass and use the lights in the mirror. If I remember the mirrors were around 150. The bad news is he is no longer making them.

What a great idea. But what happens when you drive through Virginia where radar detectors are illegal? Is this unit really stealthy? Too, bad they stopped making the mirror units, I'd have to have one if they were still available.
