I have a pair of standard Corvette seats('89 model) that I bought for a street rod project. They were covered in some sort of black cloth and I want to recover them using a leather-like kit from Corvette America. Since I am a DIY kind of person I was wondering if anyone here has ever disassembled one of these seats before and if they could pass along any helpfull hints and tips. Anyone here ever recover their own seats before?
