Why just stock Bilsteins? Just haven't looked into shocks yet and my ride is pretty nice. What's that expression, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I went with KYB from the tire rack.
Read a alot of good reviews here about them and for the price !!
I'm not into the "ultimate" performance thing, just need a nice ride.

My $.02

I have the Edelbrocks on my car. I got all 4 for $200 total. I was in need of Shocks so I figured I would try them.

I still have my old bilsteins that need to be sent for revalving

Koni Sports  I have also used OE and revalved FX3 Bilsteins as well as Penske's. The Koni works the best on my car for autox.

I have the Edelbrock IAS and they are a lot smoother than the factory Bilsteins were.

Couldn't really tell you if they are better then Bilsteins or not, since the motor I am running now was pout in just before the shocks.. The front does lift though on hard accel.

I am happy so far with them.. They have been on for 2 years

Here's my desires: I'd like a more throaty sound than the stock, BUT I don't want that resonance while cruising at 60-70 mph. My wife would not like that and it's hard enough for me to get her to go on a trip in my Vette. So, for me, I guess B&Bs are out of the game as well as Flowmasters 40 series. I also, like the LT-1 tips that came on the OEM exhaust. I wish I could hear a set of Power Effects at cruise with the different openings. But they are expensive.

Disregard. I don't know why it switched to this thread, I was on the exhaust poll thread

Konis.

Had them on a BMW 2002 Tii, Saab Turbo, Jag XKE.

Pulled the Z51 Bilstein kidney pounders in 1985 and put on the Konis set to medium firmness. That was the cheapest improvement to date.
