Fans shut off speed?
Okay, we've been talking around it for a while, so I'll ask out right. Is there a speed that the ECM sees and shuts off the cooling fans if they were on? If so, where did you find the info and what is the speed? The reason I ask is that the service manual lists the items that the ECM looks at to turn the fans on and off. One of the items is Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).

From what I can see on my Tunercat software, it is 35mph. But, I'm not 100% sure that is what I am looking at.

Did you know that the ECM also looks at oil temp for fan turn on? This car is really neat.

Its either 35 or 55mph, I have a manual here that says 55, but I'm thinking that it is wrong after driving today.
Beyond whichever mph it is, the movement of the air over the radiator is better than that which the fan provides.

I've read 35mph in several places, but have never looked it up in the Helms.
