I never checked my tire pressure, I just assumed that the correct pressure was put in.
I was having troubles hooking up at the track (I left same pressure as I drove it there, didn't have a way to raise to correct pressure for drive home).
I figured it was around 35 psi. It was 45 psi !!!!
No wonder I was having some troubles hooking up. I now have it at 35 all 4 tires and wow, what a huge difference 10 psi make in ride quality! It is much smoother on the road, and knowing this, I'm gonna have a buddy bring an air compressor to the track next time and drop it right down to like 25 # and see how she hooks then.
And while you are at it don't forget to check your SPARE tire pressure periodically. Unlike your experience where you had 45 instead of 35 PSI, you can easily need your spare and it have 0 PSI!!!
