I've searched through the archives and can't come up with much on a topic that I know has been beated to death. Well I'm going to whack the proverbial horse one more time- for good measure.
Going off a previous post, I need a new 700R4 transmission. To save costs I plan on installing it myself, so from WHOM do I purchase one? This is a relatively mild 383ci hi-flow TPI motor that I like to occasionally stomp on. Unfortunately, price is the biggest factor right now (I'm still in school), so no conversions or GearVendors quips, please.
had mine rebuilt on the 87.. last week.. took to national transmission...
one year warranty...2800 stall convert , they rebuilt to my spec and was included in standard price),,, the updated mods no charge.. i added the following up grades..shift kit... ceramic clutch pacs..they r/r..this 700r can now push up to 500hp and 500 ft/lbs to rear wheels. Total price 1350.00US...FYI.... ;)
