Does anybody know what the cost is for the front that will fit under the grandsport wheels. I've sent these idiots 3 dufferent requests on there websit and havn't gotten one response. Is this the way these people do business. Has anybody had experience with SSBC 4 piston system. There not much more than the c5 upgrade and was seriously considering this. I want more braking power than the c5 upgrade but dont want to spend a rediculous amount of money on a car that will never see the track.
That looks great. I looked on there site and it looks like the Movit package. Do you know what size pistons are on the 4 piston set up? SSBC brakes has a 4 piston 43 mm for $1300 with rotors. How does the car stop? Dou you have anything done to the raer? Thanks for the response.
Is it a bad thing to have an external proportioning valve? You would think with bigger pistons you might have to change out the master cyclinder, but it doesnt say that on there sight.

Most race cars require one, so no it's not a bad thing
You just answered your own question. There is no need to go bigger unless you are tracking the car, and that is heavily tracking.
As Jeffvette pointed out, if the car is not going to be run on the track, what makes it worth it to you to invest all the extra time and money into a brake system that's going to stop just a few feet shorter and won't fade (which won't matter to you if you're not on the track)?
Seems to me that $1,300 would be well into "ridiculous", but then I guess it's all relative :D
Well since the c5 upgrade is 1k and the SSBC is $1300, that's a $300 swing. I'm getting and extra 2 calipers for an extra $300. I brake very aggressive on the street and wanted the most power without spending 4k. The only problem is I dont think that anybody with a c4 on the forum has used them so I dont know about the quality.
