90 Lower hose replacement
What do you need to remove to have enough access to get the new hose back on the water pump? I checked the archives and DIY post appears to be for a pre 90 model, which seems to be easier to access if you remove the radiator...not applicable to me. GM Service manual not much help either..."remove clamps, remove hose, attach new hose, tighten clamps" B.S.!!! I'm thinking I need to remove just as much crap (i'm a little frustrated) as if I were wanting replace the water pump itself, just to have access and leverage to slip the new hose back on. :confused:

I don't think you have to remove anything. Just jack it up to the moon, and access the hose from down-under.

Figured it out...need to remove the tensioner. At first glance it doesnt look like it will add that much access, but its just enough to allow me to wiggle and push the hose one. WHEW!!! That took a lot of energy. :)
