I can only repeat what I've posted, previously. It has been too many years to remember the part number, I bought. I spent some time in a sensor catalog. I looked up the stock sensor and checked the back of the book (in the numerical section) for the specs. Next, I went through the specs, one by one, looking for a sensor with the same thread size and wire connection, with lower switching temps. The one I ended up with, switches on at 205, and off at 195. I don't think thoses were the exact specs in the book, but that is where mine activates. They all seem to vary, somewhat. Mine never comes on, except at idle and extremely low speeds...and between rounds at the track, on the manual switch. Sorry, I don't have the part number or the application, it's been too long. Good luck, and...

I can only give a Mid-America Part #, because that's where I got mine for $15. (It's a 195/175 switch)

I am as happy as can be with the 205 on, 195 off, switch I found. It works like a charm. Whatever switch you end up with, don't expect the on's and off's in the specs to correspond, exactly, with your guage.

Initially, I bought an Ecklers switch that promised a 20* difference between the on and off points. When it turned out to be more like 10*, I called and asked, "What's up?". They gave me the number to PMPD, who they buy them from, and an engineer told me a switch with that wide a spread would cost $30.00-$50.00. When I asked about the advertising, they said it was Ecklers ad, not theirs. I THINK, Ecklers has changed their ad copy since then. On some cars, a 185 off, switch, would never shut the fan down. In any case, I am very happy with my fan performance. If anything, I'm concerned that mine doesn't run hot enough, on the highway. Good luck, and...

we are basically looking for a fan switch that closes @ 200'f and open @ 185'f..must have 3/8" NP thread, the connector may vary....
only jobber part # are required.....

the part # 's from eklers, madvet, only corresponse to thier inventory and would not allows us to buy these parts from regular auto parts store..
