Default [Precaution] Check your radiator inlet

I was finishing the final steps of cleaning bird poop off my mom's mini-van when I noticed some white thing inside my radiator inlet under the nose. Hmmm, how long's that been in there and that certainly could have helped yesterdays warmer than normal temps. It turned out to be a plastic bag which was jammed in there. I washed it the day before yesterday and always check that area. I even got a coat hanger, bent it and cleaned a few leaves.

A very good idea for fall time and spring(this is ralph/panuzzo's idea..shameless plug :D) is to make a screen and form it over the inlet so nothing can get in there. Air still flows through, just leaves and big junk can't get in.

Just a heads up for my fellow vette fanatics.

Have a nice weekend.

When I cleand mine out last year, I put the screen in. Besides all the leaves, trash and myriad dead things, I had like 10 walmart bags become one with the front of the ac condeser and the radiator :banghead: :mad :cuss

Even now that I have the screen, I still watch to make sure the debris comes out the back when I run over something. Never can be too careful.
