Dyno results from today
On a whim I took my 96 LT4 to the dyno. Alot of forum members got there today but were gone before I got there. I did watch a 92 coupe bust a radiator hose on the dyno at 5k rpms. Coolant went everywhere but no one was hurt and it didnt get his opti.
My car has muffler elims and a KN filter...thats it.
I made 4 pulls.
1: RWHP 308.4 RWTRQ 311.0 coolant temp 185
2: RWHP 310.6 RWTRQ 312.4 coolant temp 200
3: RWHP 318.6 RWTRQ 316.3 coolant temp 210
4: RWHP 312.3 RWTRQ 315.4 coolant temp 225
I'll see if I can get the graphs scanned in or just try and take a good pic of them. The curves are about what you'd expect with peak trq at about 4500 but its flat as a table from 4300-4800 for peak. From start at 2000rpms its at 300rwtrq and doesnt drop below that untill 5000rpm. RWHP was still climbing even at 6000rpms and didnt drop off at all even at 6300rpms. I've got a set of Richmond 4.09 gears just waiting to install. I think this car is gonna like alot of gear.
All numbers are corrected and the dyno is a dynojet.

Re: Dyno results from today (Dr. Evil)
Any mods? Those (especially #3) are phenominal numbers with only a K&N and elims. Mine dyno'd about 1 less HP & TQ than your first (lowest) run when it was stock & I thought it was pretty strong......guess there's some real stout ones out there. Congratulations! :flag
