I've read that the C5 guys all love Yank Converters and they were probably my first choice- I just couldn't find one under $600. THanks again, I will check into them as well.
I had a 2000 & it was great.. then I went to a Vigilante...for various reasons I sold the Vigilante (It Is a GREAT Converter) but went back to my stock converter, however now I'm looking for just a "little" more in my 60' time & am thinking of getting another one from them..."Continental"
They are having a moving sale right now. You can get a Yank Stealth for $319 w/ free shipping. That's a helluva deal!
:D Sweet. I saw the websight but didn't realize the F-body Stealth would apply to my 700R4. Screw it, I think I'll give them [Yank] a call tomorrow! Besides, the vettewrench website is down and I'm tired of trying to deduce who sells what!
Re: What's the second-best T. Converter? (Ramanstud)
In the spirit of comparing apples to apples, other than the stall speed what else is different in these aftermarket convertors as opposed to the stock one? Also, anyone know the the stall speed on the stock 96 convertor?
Thanks...

I also purchased a Yank Stealth 2800. I went straight through the manufacture which just happens to be a 30 min. drive for me so I went a picked it up.
Typically if you purchase it through a vendor it will be higher to cover there "handling fees". If you just send Yank an email or call them they will sell it to you.
One other thing, they're customer service was good as well. He builds them as they are ordered, he put my order in with an order he was working on for LPE. Took 2 days and it was done.
