Default Brake Fluid Capacity

How many ounces of brake fluid do you need to completely bleed the system in a '95 C4?

I'd better simplify this - would one quart can be enough? I'm thinking 2 but who knows?

I don't like to mess with brakes, period. I take mine to a reputable brake shop and let them power bleed the system. No mess, no fuss and it takes hardly any time at all.

Takes just under a quart to bleed the brakes (lines, calipers and refill the master cylinder reservoir). The ABS/ASR system is normally not bled unless there is a problem with it. You need a Tech II with the brake system module to run the ABS motor to fully bleed that system. Then you will need just over a quart.

i used about a quart and a half to flush my system. (i did not cycle my ABS in my 92.) only bleeding should require much less as the others have indicated.
