Default [Air Dam] Vertical or slanted?

I used a few hours today to clean out the crap in front and around the radiator. Even blasted it with water from behind. I did them before, but they're still a PITA! Anyway, while checking for stuff I noticed that the air dam is angled vertically. I wonder if that's the correct angle, or should the bottom lip slant towards the front a bit?

It's vertical  That's the difference between an "air dam" and an "air foil"
