C-4 Gas Pedal Support
The stock GM gas pedal support for the C-4 is made from molded plastic, as any autocrosser or road racer can tell you these supports break, and when the support breaks you are done for the day.
We have designed a new gas pedal support, fabricated from aluminum, before we order a production run we are asking anyone interested in obtaining one to let me know via private e-mail. If we can get enough orders we will be able to offer these at $50.00 plus $6.00 shipping.
These supports will be CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum, installation will be about 30 minutes using simple hand tools.

Where were you three years when I nearly killed a dozen people at an auto cross. Just before the finish I floored it, The car stumbled and I slammed on the brakes. Nothing happened!!!! The broken gas pedal had fallen under the brake pedal. There I was doing 50 mph headed straight for the grid area. Fortunately there was room on my right to spin the car. I cut sharply to the right and proceeded to do a 360 and half before stopping. I
was in shock. What the hell happened? I found the broken pedal and all was explained. Fortunately Someone else had a spare So I could get home. A fellow corvette competitor was a machinist and made aluminum mounts for all the Corvettes in SS. If you don't have an aluminum pedal support your asking for trouble big time. Mike, I believe you're on to something. I reinforced my plastic pieces ('92 & '84) with J.B. Weld.
Can we start a group purchase and bring the $$ down a bit? Not that you're asking too much, but, you know us vette owners, always lookin' for a break in prices........
