Just purchased a Lingenfelter 52mm TB from another forum member. There are no plates attached to the top or bottom. I realise that I will use the ones from the existing unit. I looked in my manual and theres no mention of gaskets for the top and bottom. Does nayone know if they are reusable or if i need to order some from GM(i am assuming). I'd just hate to get it a part then have to wait for a week or better to get the gaskets or spend the time making some.
Thanks
Re: what gaskets are required when replacing TB (shane99)
You will find three gaskets:
-top, it's a simple rectangle so I cut one from quality gasket stock
-bottom, I "carefully" removed the IAC panel and reused the gasket
-rear, you can get a FelPro from AutoZone or reuse original in a pinch
