Overdrive blowing fuses
I posted last week how my ABS light was on and I found a blown fuse. I realized later that the OD didn't work anymore. I replaced the fuse and all was well until last night. I was in third with OD engaged - I down shifted to second (OD still on) as I began to accelerate, the OD disengaged and the ABS light came on again. I'm pretty sure it is not the ABS system blowing the fuse, because I wasn't using the brakes at the time.
Has anyone else had problems with the OD blowing fuses?
My seat of the pants diagnosis is that the OD solenoid is going bad, but I haven't checked it out yet.
Does anyone know the current draw specs for these solenoids? Are they repairable or do I have to replace it? If I have to replace it, where do I look for a new one?
