First off...just to correct me..is it LT-1 or LT1 for the C4 vette? I know that earlier generations had an LT1, but can't remember if it had a dash or not.
Anyways, on a stock LT1 C4, what kind of power is it putting out to the wheels, and what do they normally run in the 1/4?
Thanks..

(I'm almost ready to purchase a C4, just have to get rid of my current vehicle first.) :auto: :lurk:
LT-1 or LT1..either is fine...a stock LT1 came from the factory with 300 HP...that's flywheel HP not rear wheel HP which is about 15 to 20% less depending on whether it is a 6 speed or auto... 1/4 mile times vary tremendously based on auto /6 speed, driver ability, track prep, air quality, type of tires out back, etc. etc....
The 70-72 vettes were called LT-1, but the 92 - 96 vettes are known as a LT1. Same with the LT4 and LT5. The ZR1 though is actually ZR-1. There's some useless information for ya.
My 6-spd 92 dyno'd 265 to the rear wheel and 305 rwtq with just a K&N and Tri-Flow exhaust. It ran a best of 13.6 @ 103 mph on street tires w/2.0 60' time. That was with me driving. I'm sure somebody could have squeezed a little more out of it since that was my first time ever at the track.
