HELP!!
Just replaced the ECM and i'm still having the same problem. WTF.... :banghead: It all started after installing LT headers, knock sensor, 160*stat, and new plug wires. The car runs great until hitting a bump then it will cut out (almost die) and the ses light comes on for a second then it goes out. I tried pulling the codes but only get the code 12. I'm completely out of ideas. Any input will be very helpful. Thanks
P.S.
Also before i forget all the computer connectors are tight and there appears to be no loose wires or wires touching the headers.

You should back track any changes or intall's you have done....in order to find the problem...

There's a loose connection soemwhere.
Sounds like it may be the +12 volt feed for the ECM.
Most any sensor "open" won't cut the engine off.
I've run mine without the TPS connected, IAC disconnected, KS disconnected.
You name it, I've forgotten to connect it back up at one point or another.
You are going top have to get very "inventive" with a way to look for bad connections.
Are you SURE code 12 is all you're getting??
Code 12 flashes THREE times before any other codes are shown. But you probably already knew that.

Where is the 12v power lead for the ECM? Is that the only possibility or could it be something else. All the connections which lead to the ecm are snug. I first thought it may be the wiring harness near the passenger side header but its no where near touching the header nor is it lose. :confused:

Loose connection is most likely ECM related or spark related. Since you changed the plug wires, check all the coil connections and wires. Try wiggling the connector or wire while the engine is running at idle (use an insulated glove or tool) You may have a loose connector, or a broken wire held together by the insulation.
Check all the big connectors in the engine compartment, especially those anywhere near where you were working to put in the headers or plug wires. Also check the ground connections around the engine compartment.
