Would LS1 injectors fit in LT1 ? Problems ?

Would LS1 injectors fit in LT1 ? Problems ?
I have a '94 LT1, and can get a set of '01 or '02 GM LS1 injectors for next to nothing. Would these fit in the LT1 ? and would they work ? Thanks in advance.

Yes they will work. LT1 injectors are 24#'s, I believe the LS1 injectors are 28#'s. You will need to have your PCM tuned after the injectors are swapped.

Well, as stated above you'll only see the benefit if you raise your fuel pressure to 53psi. I used 30# SVO injectors and have never had an issue with them, if you don't mind playing with the fuel pressure go with the LS ones...or get the SVO's and just plug them in and be done with it.

I put some 2002 LS6 28.8 lbs injectors in and am running at the rated pressure of 58.4 psi with an aftermarket pump. The groove for the retaining ring on the fuel rails is not cut all the way around as in the stock type injectors. I had to use a needle file to make the groove all the way around the injector. It was easy just time consuming.
