What year vette, what mods.
I am guessing pretty stock L98, with 3.73's IF you get good traction you should see a drop of 3-4 tenths I think.. But.. if you are semi stock , the 3.73's will make your car run out of breath way before you want.. 3.07's is ideal for a stock TPI car IMO.
Semi stock 92 auto LT1 i plan on doin several other mods thought it would be a good place to start . next to go on are shorty headers and magnaflow cats with my already corsa catbacks [IMG][/IMG] :chevy
I went from 2.59's to 3.75's and absolutely love them. It's a huge difference! I would guess you would go to a mid 13 with gears if you are running a 14 flat now. Many folks are doing a bit better than that with the same setup.
My 86 ran an 8.52 in the 1/8 mile with drag radials. (STOCK)
I then added roller rockers, large tube runners, cold air intake, ported plenum, transpak, aftermarket exhaust, and 3.75's and the damn thing only ran an 8.38. Both runs on drag radials with no tire spin and an 82 mph trap speed. :banghead:
