I am considering the S.R. plenum and runners. I have ported edelbrock base with slp runners and a ported plenum. I have shortened the length inside the runners to kinda give it the same length as the S.R. but I know the I.D.'s are smaller on the SLP runners. Any thoughts on if I'll gain anything or am I just wasting $700.00?
Thanks for the comments,
John
I have swapped to a superram setup from SLP/ported plenum setup a few months ago. I have to go to the track to see what I've gained, but the mid - upper rpm pull on the car was like night and day between the two.
I recently also added headers to the car so that made things even better.
Mr Nuke as in Millstone? Please post the difference when you find out.
I think it will be more that a tenth but maybe not. I milled the SLP runners on the inside from the top and reduced the length about 4". I also cut grooves in the lower end so the runners are open on both ends. I picked up 3 tenths doing this. I just don't know if I want to go for the S.R. or the Stealth now.
