The vinyl trim on my convertable deck lid is torn. I tried to use one of those vinyl repair kits but it still looks crappy.
I looked at MAD and Ecklers and they don't seem to have a replacement. Has anyone tried to recover this with new vinyl or found a source for replacement? I don't think it would be easy to recover with all the odd shapes it has near where it comes forward. I think they came in black or red, and mine is red.

I have used their kit for leather seat repairs, and the results are "perfect". Explain your lid condition to their rep, and determine if it is worth repairing.
