Something new at Mid America? They have one for my PT Cruiser and almost everyone says it's junk. How bout in the Vette?
You're just an inch away from horsepower gains of up to 20, along with dramatically increased torque and improved fuel economy! By extending your 1985-91 Corvette's throttle body injection unit 1", the Power Tower Spacer Plate's unique Helix spiral flow design improves fuel atomization, which results in more complete combustion. Bolt-on unit installs between the throttle body and intake manifold in less than 30 minutes. Complete instructions and hardware included.

yeah that might work with fuel atomization IF THERE WAS ANY FUEL EVEN CROSSING OVER THE FREAKIN P.O.S.
I need to just start looking for ideas like this to make a fortune so I can just tinker with my car all day. Sad thing is, it wouldn't be had to probably make a million dollars doing it. Just look at the tornado
I could spend 8 thousand dollars on some 350+ CFM ported heads that I could replace my current heads with, put a tornado type device in the plenum, then run low 10s and all day long, and market the device. instant millionaire :D :jester :leaving:
Because 90% of the people out there are like: " What is MPI?"
And they have no friggin clue how the gas gets from the rear of the car to the front. Its a magical experience they take for granted everytime they hit the key to start it. :D  :banghead:
Funny that it states that it is for 85-91 and says it improves fuel atomization and could only have any possible effect like that on an 84! It would be funny if it were not so much :bs
Best rule of thumb: if it's cheap and easy and it promises a bunch of HP it's probably not true. Serious HP = serious $.
Too bad Consumer Reports isn't interested in Corvette performance equipment. :)
P. T. Barnum said it best: "There's a sucker born every minute!"
My personal favorite is the Slick 50 ad that promises so much reduction in friction that you can run the engine without oil!
HEY!!! Now there is something EVERYONE should do!!!... Just pick up one of those 5 quart jugs of oil and notice how heavy 5 quarts of oil is!!!... Why, just the weight savings from not having to waste the horsepower needed to move that weight around would probably knock off a couple of seconds in the quarter mile and increase the Miles Per Gallon by at least 5 MPG or more. Plus, since you would no longer need other oil related components, like oil filters and oli pans and sending units and oil pumps, removing all those extra weighty components too would probably double or triple the SOTP performance gains!!!
Plus... ever notice how hot oil gets?!?!... Well... removing all that heat from the engine would mean we would no longer need water to cool it!!! Whoo Hoo!!... Another 5 gallons of weight that could be eliminated while adding another 50 or so HP!!!
Think I'm gonna get busy writing a new TECH TIP to detail the procedure!!
