Default Head casting numbers...

Got into my ac overhaul just a wee bit sooner than planned...what's that noise? Smell something? What's that smoke coming out from under the hood? Yeah the compressor locked right smooth UP! It was time for a new serpentine anyways....

I'm about halfway there and my hands are filthy as I type...I had to take the valve cover off to get one of the compressor mounting bolts out and jotted down some numbers...

14096217 and just below that one is J 143

So what are these? They have the center valve cover bolts and are iron. What did they come off of originally?

I'll be hooking up the evacuator in about an hour... :seeya

Thank you!

Can you tell me how these compare to the stock heads that came on the '85?
