1991 master cylinder problem
Can anyone help me out here? I have a 1991 6-speed. My brake master cylinder has two reseviors. Somehow I managed to lose one of the caps. Can anyone tell me if the OEM master cylinder had big push on caps. I bought the car used a little over a year ago, so I am not sure if the master is OEM or not. From what pics I have been able to find on the net I think it's OEM but my local chevy dealler says that the OEM was a screw-on cap. I would hate to think that I have to spend upwards of $300 for a master when is all I need is a cap. In addition, Would anyone know where to get just the cap, if it is OEM? Thanks

my 89 has push on rubber caps on the master cylinder which has two reseviors .... but my clutch master clylinder screws on maybe they got them confused :confused: try vette salvage yards... or list in the forum sale wat to buy section...should be able to find a used one
