When I open the drivers door the interior lights don't come on. Also after driving the radio won't shut off when the drivers door is opened and the car turned off. The interior lights don't work either. Everything works normally throught the passenger door. I'm thinking its the door switch on the drivers side.
Any Thoughts? :conehead

I'd say it's your drivers side door switch too. Try and adjust the switch if you can. There is a small pin in the center of the door switch...pull it out a bit. You may have to use a pair of needle nose plyers to do so.

Its going to be the switch, I had the exact same thing happen to my 94. My understanding of the pin in the switch is to adjust the 'throw' of the switch when the door is closed. As the problem is happening when its open, its the switch itself. I bought a replacement from Mid America for about $10 and solve the issue. I might recommend moving the passenger side switch over to the driverside door till you get the replacement. That will keep you from constantly having to open the passenger side door to kill the radio after turning off the car. *grin* Strangely enough this is the 2nd time in a week for this issue, see the following thread. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=619012
