Switchable aux (pusher) fan owners... I need data
I need some data from anyone with both a) a digital thermometer and b) a switchable aux fan.
I am looking to find out the effect that the second fan plays on AC vent temps.
If you would be so kind, please do the following:
1. Set thermometer in central vent. All vents wide open. Set in a position that can be read from outside, cuz opening doors and windows will mess with the data.
2. turn aux fan on
3. Run car to warm idle with AC coldest, blower fan lowest setting for at least 20 minutes...windows up, doors closed.
4. Record temp. at the vent.
5. turn aux fan off
6. Repeat. 3 and 4 above.
7. Note outside temperature
8. Email me (this post) with Vent Temp (fan on), vent temp (fan off), and outside temp.
