Oil Temp

My oil temp cycles anywhere from normal (mid) to HOT (almost into the red).

Does anyone have the same thing going on or is there something I should look at/replace?

Just bought a 90 coupe 6spd. and love it :D --just don't like seeing it cycle like that.

My '95 doesn't do that. Engine runs at 195 on highway, oil steady at 205. Sounds like it might be your oil temp sensor.

That's what I think too. I'm out of town for a few days then it goes in for a diagnosis. I'll post after I know more.
