84 won't shut off after flushing
I flushed the radiator and block twice. Added Prestone flush, ran her for 10 minutes, flushed again. Added 1 gallon of anti-freeze. Total running time about 30 minutes. I went to turn the car off and it stayed running. Temp hit 235. I removed the air breather and placed two cups under the tbi and the car died. I then noticed I only had the one gallon off fluid in the car, I added water to fill the radiator and let the car sit untlil night fall. Drive up and down the parkway and side streets, checked fluid, okay. All appears to be fine know. Can insufficirnt fluid in the radiator/block cause the car not to turn off?

Was is deiseling from being overheated or was it idling smoothly?
If it was deiseling, you need to clean the combustion chambers with seafoam or run a few gallons of water through the throttle body vacuum hose fitting to clean the carbon out.
