GM High Tech & Performance.

It's a niche magazine. Not bad, really.

I spoke with Phil at Dynotech yesterday regarding delivery of the new DynaSparks. He said he is being held up by delivery of the splined shafts, but expects to receive them by the end of the week. That puts delivery of the units sometime during the week of 11 August. I am looking forward to this install, as I am going to use the downtime to install a new rear gear.

Apparently the GMHTP article came out a couple weeks sooner than he had planned, so he is swamped. That is a good problem to have.

There's also one in Corvette Fever magazine online (www.corvettefever.com). I don't know if it's the same one as GMHTP.

Since I don't rev over 6K, I don't need it for performance reasons; but, I long for the coil-per-cylinder unit to get the high voltage out of the Opti-Spark.

That been said, I am impressed with DynoTech Engineering's list of improvements for the Opti-Spark upgrade. I will have my ear to this forum to find out about reliability. If this proves to be reliable, when my present Opti goes, it will be my next one.
