fuel cut out problem

fuel cut out problem
i've found that there are two problems with the design of the gas tank.
1. the stupid yellow thing at the bottom. I've already pulled it out.
2. the fuel pump is at a 45 degree angle and rests in the very front of the tank.
Somebody needs to tell the people at GM when you need the gas the most it's in the back of the tank! I'm going to try and fix mine the cheap way... I'll be renting a welder to do my exhaust and I'm also going to fashion some brackets to hold my fuel pump on facing the opposite direction which will put it more in the middle of the tank. I've also got somebody who works for GM looking at '94 and newer Vettes to see if the gas tank problem was fixed and if those gas tanks are usuable in an older Vette. :auto:
