power steering question
Post for R94LT1:
Says his power steering is making noise. Worked fine yesterday, fluid is ok. Turning right or left is harder than it should be and it's moaning.
Power steering going out? Would changing the fluid help?

Well I changed the fluid and now I found a leak. Started a new post about that problem.

At this point I know I have a leak and I'm hoping that's all that's really causing the problem, but with my luck, I probably have a PS pump out and a leak as well. :mad :mad :mad

Check your PS resovoir-to-rack pipe. Mine was leaking and causing my steering pump to moan and groan as well. Replaced the pipe and flushed and filled with fresh synthetic PS fluid and all's well now! :thumbs:
