Tranny Rattle...
Got car back from shop after Header install and I am hearing a strange rattle now. It only occurs when the car is in drive or Reverse. When it is in park it stops. Any Ideas on what it could be?

Do you still have the cat on? When I gutted my cat I left the heat sheild on it to retain factory look, and it caused a rattle when the car was in gear. Just a guess...

:iagree: I was going to say the same thing...depending on what is or is not there...it may be the egr tube that runs to the converter or it may be whats left of the exhaust hanger that mounts to the tranny...shouldn't be hard to do. Just don't get under the car and say "Ok...put it in drive!" :yesnod:

Well, they put 2 new High flow cats on. Like I said it only happens in drive and Reverse. Why would that happen? The rattleing is cosistant with the lope of the engine too.
