The published top speed of the '85 was 150 mph. At 130 mph it looks like you're suffering roughly 1 mph loss per year. Buy a book and some wrenches and turn that around! :seeya
Per G.M. your 85 should top out between 150 & 152 M.P.H. I purchased a new 85 in late 85 just before 86 was released. Collected data back then stated above top speed. My top speed during 2 years of ownership 138 M.P.H. & STILL PULLING FAIRLY STRONG!
At what RPM are you seeing 130? Will it just not pull anymore RPM or is the fuel actually shutting off like the ECM has been reprogrammed to enable the speed limiter?
while my 1985 corvette is nowhare close to stock , now, in fact (theres not a single part that came from chevy in the engine) when it was it could hit the mid 140s with ease but youll need about a two mile stretch of strait road with no cross streets, no traffic, a dry calm day, Z rated tires, and be slightly nuts like (someone thats taking the 5TH) to prove it! (youll hit 145mph at about the 1-1.25 mile, mark, then youll need to start slowing down, (don,t slam on the brakes)
