It also works great on weatherstripping to keep it from drying out and cracking. Just a very small amount on your finger and rub into the weatherstripping. Let it sit for an hour or so and then wipe off with a clean cotton cloth. No squeaks and it will look like new!!
Permatex makes a number of sizes of tubes. I bought a couple of the .33 oz tubes and I used less than half of one tube for my new plug wires and all the weatherstripping on my 92 vert. A little goes a long way!
The Permatex stuff is called "Dielectric Tune-up Grease" and has a part number of "67VR' on the tube.
I have a can of it, so it is available in larger quantity. I found mine a year or so ago in my car after it had been serviced at the dealership. They used it on the weather-stripping.
So maybe an auto supply house or electrical supply might have the larger quantity

Another good use for it: put it inside heater and radiator hoses on the ends. Makes them easier to slip on AND it keeps them from sticking to the fitting so you can get them off. Oh yeah, inside spark plug boots to keep them from sticking.
It looks like there is a bunch of uses for this stuff. Almost as useful as duct tape or post-its.

Someone suggested 'Leslie's Pool and Tub Lube' [I know, that name just doesn't sound right...] because it has DuPont Krytox. It seems to work well, and at about $5-6 for 3.5 oz, it's not a bad deal.
